February CEO Update: Busy Start to 2020

An update from Fiona Marshall, AgPlus' CEO:

Hello and welcome to our February update.

So, 2020 has started at pace for AgPlus with so much to achieve this year. We are pleased to be working closely with Surface Technology Innovations to develop our Agilis™ Reader and this is progressing at pace to meet our aggressive timeline of end of year for first off production and clinical verification. We have worked successfully with our cartridge manufacturer through 2019 to get to a validated tool and manufacturing line and we will start testing in March 2020.

We are pleased to be part of the @Longitude_prize and with the deadline extension to 2022 announced on the 18th February this allows AgPlus to further progress our Platform development with our novel biomarker for the differentiation of bacterial infection.

After successfully obtaining a UKI2S/ Innovate UK Accelerator grant award we have also been awarded an Innovate 2 Succeed grant which is supporting us with development of our innovation processes.

Hope you are enjoying our meet the team introductions. We are currently offering an exciting opportunity to join our team in production as we start to plan for scale up and growth.

Watch this space for our next white paper which is coming soon and will be available to download from our website.

We are pleased to announce that with our new partnership with Diagnostics Development based in Sweden we can now offer access to biomarkers as well as contract development and manufacture.

If you are interested in a next generation PoC assay or extending your portfolio to include Point of care please get in touch to discuss development partnerships.
