Rupert gained an MA at Cambridge in 1985 and qualified as an auditor with KPMG. From 1989-2008 he worked as an investment executive, Director and Partner of the leading private equity firm Electra/Cognetas. Whilst focussed on companies based in the UK, Rupert was also involved in identifying investment opportunities, completing transactions, taking Board seats and arranging the sale of investments elsewhere in Europe. Since leaving Cognetas he has served on the Boards of various companies and been involved in investing in and mentoring the management teams of a number of them.
