A BIT ABOUT Lauren
Lauren recently graduated from Kingston University where she studied Biochemistry and achieved a First. She started off her career working in the manufacturing of lateral flow devices but needed more of a challenge. Lauren says that she is “thoroughly excited” about the opportunity to work for AgPlus Diagnostics and is looking forward to gaining valuable industry experience.
COMPANY ROLE
Lauren is a Research and Development Scientist working on contract development projects.
STARTING WITH AG+
I have worked at AgPlus for a couple of weeks now, and I have learned how R&D works and what is expected of me. I have found it helpful having previous laboratory experience to fulfill my duties and I am eager to see how my career progresses here.
BEST PART OF THE JOB
The best part of the job is the whole team. They have helped me understand the terms used in R&D and how to execute a prodigious project from proof of principle to verification. They are always there to answer any questions I have and are very supportive.
THE YEAR AHEAD
The next year is going to be a very exciting and busy year for me and for AgPlus as a whole. I have some projects lined up which I am very enthusiastic about, and I am looking forward to working on many more. I would like to continue to gain knowledge, contribute ideas to the team to find solutions and fulfill targets set.
