An update from Fiona Marshall, AgPlus' CEO:
Hello and welcome to our March update.
These are strange times we are working though and this is when we see how the nation pulls together united against a common goal.
The staff at AgPlus are continuing to work full-time for our customers to ensure their developments remain on track and I would like to thank them for their continued hard work in difficult times. We have implemented a 2-metre rule and those that can, are working from home to minimise risk. Like many other small businesses at this time we are taking it a day at a time as the horizon rapidly changes.
Our Agilis™ Platform development is progressing well and our suppliers are continuing in these difficult times to support us to keep the project on track for delivery at the end of 2020. All plans for travel are now on hold, however we hope to get out on road trip later in the year to meet with existing customers and introduce Agilis™ to new customers.
Some of you may have seen on LinkedIn/ Twitter, that we are trying to develop a rapid COVID 19 test with the electrochemistry technology that was invented at the National Physical Laboratory and will be core in our Agilis™ PoC platform. Like several other Diagnostics manufacturers we are racing to try and get a frontline solution to support the thousands of tests that will be required. We hope that there is success with one of the tests and are open to collaboration to help support these developments.
As we move through the next few months life will be very different for us all when we get to the other side but we will get there with new learnings.
Stay safe everyone and look out for our next white paper coming soon.
