An update from AgPlus Diagnostics CEO Fiona Marshall:
Is it too late to wish everyone a Happy New Year with our first communication of 2021? January has not started as we all anticipated with COVID still being front and foremost on our mind.
2020 was a very successful year for AgPlus, with successful funding for development of COVID-19 assays, further investment through the Future fund and continued support from our current investors, new contract development projects and significant progress with our reader platform and delivery on site of the prototypes.
Q1 2021 is key for AgPlus as we put our prototype readers (see picture) through its paces working closely with STI- Limited We have successfully worked with Thinxxs in Zweibrucken to get to the final format cartridge that is now in regular manufacture (see picture). The team at AgPlus are working hard to transition our key assays in development at design freeze on to the cartridge. This will allow us to work with our development partners to do some verification testing. The transition to our new electrode manufacturer Flex Medical Solutions is progressing at pace and we look forward to our ongoing relationship as we work to manufacture scale up in late 2021.
We are looking forward to continued success with all our partners in 2021.
